Position Summary:

• The Casino Manager is responsible for the overall successful management of the Casino and ensures the integrity, efficiencies and performance of all aspects of the operation. Ensures that the Casino floor is operated in accordance with AGLC Terms and Conditions and Operating Guidelines, Gaming and Liquor Act, Gaming and Liquor Regulations and all board policies.

Essential Functions:

• Provides direction, sets performance objectives and conducts employee evaluations for direct reports
• Takes a leadership role in all aspects of the opening of the Casino

Position Summary:

• The Front Desk Agent is responsible for taking resort reservations, checking guests in and out, taking resort payments and responding to guests' questions and concerns.
• New Hourly Rate of $15.00 for Experienced Front Desk Agents

Essential Functions:

• Provides outstanding service excellence to guests
• Takes resort reservations in person or by phone in the absence of the Switchboard/Reservations Operator
• Greets, enters and confirms guests in the system, arranges payment, allocates rooms, etc.

Position Summary:

• The General Night Cleaner is responsible to provide stellar housekeeping services for the resort and provide service excellence to our guests.

Essential Functions:

• Replaces and refills used items and toiletries
• Vacuums carpets and washes floors as per company standards

• Knows proper cleaning methods and the use of chemicals
• Stocks carts daily and advises the Executive Housekeeper when supplies are low

Position Summary:

• The Slot Supervisor oversees and monitors a shift as well as managing the duties of the Slot Attendant.
• The Slot Attendant is responsible for monitoring the gaming floor and providing exceptional guest service excellence as well as handling cash transactions in accordance with AGLC Terms and Conditions.

Position Summary:

• The Pit Supervisor is responsible to oversee the table games operations and ensure adherence to AGLC Terms and Conditions. This position supervises Dealers on a shift basis and provides performance feedback to the Senior Games Manager/Games Manager. Pit Supervisors, who hold Games Manager licenses will be rotated through Games Managers shifts as required to maintain their licenses.

Position Summary:

• Under the guidance of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, prepare and deliver all food items to the pre-defined expectations and presentation standards.

Essential Functions:

• Prepares all food items in accordance with established recipe and quality standards in a timely manner
• Prepares hot foods and sauces as directed
• Responsible for daily soup preparation as directed
• Maintains the cleanliness of all kitchen work stations, tools, equipment and supplies and ensures the proper food handling techniques are being followed

• Assists in the opening and closing duties of the kitchen which may include turning equipment on/off, locking/unlocking of secured areas, set up/store prep items, etc
• Ensure that all stores and fridges including fresh produce, meat and dry goods are stored in the respective storage areas in an organized manner.

• Conforms to the Fire, Health, hotel regulations and laws governing food and beverage operations in the province of Alberta

Qualifications:

• Minimum Two (2) years previous experience in a Resort or Hotel style environment
• Post secondary education in a Culinary program or related field
• Knowledge of safe and sanitary holding temperatures and procedures
• Ability to use safe storage techniques following storage and rotation policies and procedures
• Ability to follow recipes and cooking guidelines
• Ability to work in a clean, organized manner with attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and courteous in a fast paced environment
• Ability to lift and carrying 35lbs on a regular and continuous basis

• The Server is responsible for serving guests at an outlet while providing outstanding guest service excellence. This could include casino floor, buffet, lounge, fine dining, banquets or room service.
