All employees of Stoney Nakoda Resort will be required to produce a police clearance check and must be of legal age to apply. Front of house staff will be trained in ASIP and AADAC, as well our housekeeping and kitchen staff will be WHMIS, MSDS, and food safety trained. Position Summary:

Essential Functions:

Position Summary:

• The Security Officer is responsible for the overall security of guests, employees, volunteers and facility assets.

Essential Functions:

• Welcomes guests
• Protects guests, employees, volunteers and facility assets in assigned area
• Enforces all house policies and AGLC Terms and Conditions
• Enforces restriction of minors, liquor provisions and service
• Manages crowd control
• Provides assistance gaming employees in monitoring suspicious activities
• Records activities in Security Log; writes discrepancy reports
• Reports all incidences to the Security/Surveillance Manager
• Responds and resolves issues and escalates as required
• Manages other initiatives or duties as required

Qualifications:

Position Summary:

• The Pit Supervisor is responsible to oversee the table games operations and ensure adherence to AGLC Terms and Conditions. This position supervises Dealers on a shift basis and provides performance feedback to the Senior Games Manager/Games Manager. Pit Supervisors, who hold Games Manager licenses will be rotated through Games Managers shifts as required to maintain their licenses.

Essential Functions:

• Provides feedback on Dealers in regards to performance to the Games Manager
• Acts as Games Manager as needed
• Supervises employees on a shift basis
• Monitors games activities
• Provides outstanding guest service excellence to table games guests
• Ensures that games are conducted in accordance with CTCOG and house rules
• Responds and resolves guest issues or escalates to the Games Manager
• Schedules employee breaks; reschedules employees as required
• Prepares Pit Supervisor's games reports
• Supervises chip fills, credits, table closings and access to pit areas

Position Summary:

• The Rooms Div Manager/Front Desk Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of Night Audit, Concierge, Switchboard/Reservations and Front Desk. This position is responsible for managing employee performance, detailed reporting, rooms management, preparation and maintenance of the hotel operating budget, room revenue budget and business plan.

Essential Functions:

• •Provides direction, sets performance objectives and conducts employee evaluations for direct reports
• •Ensures maximum RevPAR daily within yield rates set by the Director of Sales and Marketing
• •Monitors FIT allotments accounts; monitors room releases prior to cut off times
• •Develops promotions with accounts to ensure maximum occupancies are attained
• •Oversees credit policies, controls and financial transactions
• •Recommends, develops and implements employee incentives designed to increase revenues
• •Reviews all guest comment cards and complaints, takes corrective action to ensure 100% guest satisfaction and maintains Diamond/Star rating standards
• •Assists the GM and the Director of Sales and Marketing with the development of special reports/projects
• •Ensures hotel employees are fully knowledgeable on the resort facilities, daily functions, current hotel/casino promotions, as well as local activities in the general area

Position Summary:

• Under the guidance of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, prepare and deliver all food items to the pre-defined expectations and presentation standards.

Essential Functions:

• Prepares all food items in accordance with established recipe and quality standards in a timely manner
• Prepares hot foods and sauces as directed
• Responsible for daily soup preparation as directed
• Maintains the cleanliness of all kitchen work stations, tools, equipment and supplies and ensures the proper food handling techniques are being followed
• Communicates with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef and Chef de Partie: Quantity of product – abundance or shortage; Quality of product: Technical deficiencies
• Assists in the opening and closing duties of the kitchen which may include turning equipment on/off, locking/unlocking of secured areas, set up/store prep items, etc
• Ensure that all stores and fridges including fresh produce, meat and dry goods are stored in the respective storage areas in an organized manner.
• Ensure that Stoney Nakoda Resort cost control policies and procedures are being adhered to
• Conforms to the Fire, Health, hotel regulations and laws governing food and beverage operations in the province of Alberta

Qualifications:

• Minimum Two (2) years previous experience in a Resort or Hotel style environment (Perferred)
• Post secondary education in a Culinary program or in a related field and/or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of safe and sanitary holding temperatures and procedures
• Ability to use safe storage techniques following storage and rotation policies and procedures
• Ability to follow recipes and cooking guidelines
• Ability to work in a clean, organized manner with attention to detail
• Ability to lift and carrying 35lbs on a regular and continuous basis
• First Nations Experience an asset
• Ability to stand for 5 hours continuously
• Ability to remain calm and courteous in a fast paced environment
