Position Summary:
- The Rooms Div Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of Night Audit, Concierge, Switchboard/Reservations and Front Desk. This position is responsible for managing employee performance, detailed reporting, rooms management, preparation and maintenance of the hotel operating budget, room revenue budget and business plan.
Essential Functions:
- •Provides direction, sets performance objectives and conducts employee evaluations for direct reports
- •Ensures maximum RevPAR daily within yield rates set by the Director of Sales and Marketing
- •Monitors FIT allotments accounts; monitors room releases prior to cut off times
- •Develops promotions with accounts to ensure maximum occupancies are attained
- •Oversees credit policies, controls and financial transactions
- •Recommends, develops and implements employee incentives designed to increase revenues
- •Reviews all guest comment cards and complaints, takes corrective action to ensure 100% guest satisfaction and maintains Diamond/Star rating standards
- •Assists the GM and the Director of Sales and Marketing with the development of special reports/projects
- •Ensures hotel employees are fully knowledgeable on the resort facilities, daily functions, current hotel/casino promotions, as well as local activities in the general area

Qualifications:
- •Post Secondary education or suitable combination of education and experience
- •Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
- •Computer literacy in MS Office: RoomMaster/InnQuest and SynXis experience an asset; other hotel software acceptable
- •Minimum 4 years of experience in rooms revenue management; casino experience an asset
- •First Nations experience an asset
- •Other languages an asset; French speaking skills a plus
- •Criminal Record Clearance mandatory
- Work Environment Considerations: Regular casino/hotel environment, non-traditional work hours
