Position Summary:

• The General Overnight Cleaner/Shift Supervisor is responsible to provide stellar housekeeping services for the resort and provide service excellence to our guests.

Essential Functions:

• Replaces and refills used items and toiletries
• Vacuums carpets and washes floors as per company standards
• Cleans bathrooms
• Knows proper cleaning methods and the use of chemicals
• Stocks carts daily and advises the Executive Housekeeper when supplies are low
• Reports resort deficiencies to the Executive Housekeeper
• Cleans general resort areas including hallways, windows and ledges, ashtrays, etc.
• Maintains a duties checklist daily of work performed
• Supervises all Overnight Cleaners and provides input for employee evaluations
• Manages other initiatives or duties as required

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or a combination of education and training equivalent
• Good communication skills; both written and verbal
• Minimum 1 year of experience in hotel/casino housekeeping, supervising an asset
• First Nations experience an asset
• Other languages an asset
• W.H.M.I.S. certificate
• Criminal Record Clearance mandatory
