Position Summary:
- The Casino Manager is responsible for the overall successful management of the Casino and ensures the integrity, efficiencies and performance of all aspects of the operation. Ensures that the Casino floor is operated in accordance with AGLC Terms and Conditions and Operating Guidelines, Gaming and Liquor Act, Gaming and Liquor Regulations and all board policies.
Essential Functions:
- Provides direction, sets performance objectives and conducts employee evaluations for direct reports
- Takes a leadership role in all aspects of the opening of the Casino
- Oversees the following departments: Tables, Slots, and Guest Services
- Prepares budgets and monitors actual to budget
- Performs analysis on all gaming revenues and expenses.
- Ensures the integrity of games, including key control and access issues
- Prepares a weekly high end report to the Director of Gaming Operations
- Prepares for approval all the necessary forms and procedures
- Performs impact analysis of events, entertainment and games mix

Qualifications:
- Post Secondary education or suitable combination of education and experience
- Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal
- Computer literacy in MS Office
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Casino Management
- First Nations experience an asset
- Other languages an asset
